Growth and characterization of ammonium acid phthalate single crystals

► Bulk crystal of AAP was grown by solution growth technique. ► The grown AAP crystal is free from the structural grain boundaries. ► Photoluminescence (red emission) occurred at λmax = 635 nm. ► AAP crystal is thermally stable up to 185 °C.
