Distributed feedback laser action in reflection geometry from a dye-doped polymer film

► Reflexion type distributed feedback lasing in a dye-doped polymer was studied. ► Lasing occurs at first order of the Bragg grating. ► The index change associated with the photo-damage is deduced from the spectral characteristics of the emission.
