Elastic, piezooptic and acoustooptic properties of SrB4O7 and PbB4O7 crystals

In this paper the acoustic, elastic, piezooptic, photoelastic and acoustooptic properties of SrB4O7 and PbB4O7 crystals have been studied and thoroughly analyzed. The complete matrices of the corresponding coefficients have been obtained. The acoustooptic diffraction in PbB4O7 crystals has been observed.
