Harper–Dorn creep – The dislocation network theory revisited

The dislocation network theory of Harper–Dorn creep is revisited in light of several criticisms and new results published over the last decade. It is argued that the criticisms are unjustified, and that at least for Al the predictions of the theory are in very good agreement with the new and older experimental observations.
