Effect of molten quenching temperature on glass-forming ability of nanoquasi-crystal-forming Zr-based metallic glasses
چکیده انگلیسی

In addition of alloy composition, molten liquid temperatures influence the thermophysical properties – crystallization and glass transition temperatures – and thus influence the glass-forming ability (GFA). The effect of thermophysical properties on the GFA of nanoquasi-crystal-forming Zr70−XCu25Pt5AlX metallic glasses with high-purity elements as well as admixed Y2O3 quenched from different molten liquid temperatures was studied. Calculations of different expressions using the characteristic temperatures of the metallic glasses were used to predict GFAs.
