Yield point phenomenon during strain rate change in nanocrystalline Ni–Fe
چکیده انگلیسی

The mechanical properties of electrodeposited nanocrystalline Ni–50 wt.% Fe are compared with those of electrodeposited Ni. Load–unload experiments and strain rate jump tests demonstrate the presence of a yield point after a change in strain rate in the plastic regime. The strain rate sensitivity is considerably reduced in Ni–Fe, in spite of the smaller grain size.
