چکیده انگلیسی

The effect of the boundary conditions during uniaxial compression on the mechanical behavior of the Zr41.2Ti13.8Cu12.5Ni10Be22.5 metallic glass has been evaluated by using a pure Cu foil as a lubricant material between loading platens and specimens. The results reveal that the soft metal is very effective for reducing the contact friction at the platen–specimen interface, leading to a remarkable increase in plastic deformation with respect to more conventional semi-fluid lubricants.
