Orientation relationship between C14 precipitate and (A2 + D03) matrix in an Fe–20at.%Al–8at.%Ti alloy
چکیده انگلیسی

When the Fe–20at.%Al–8at.%Ti alloy was aged at 1000 °C for 1 h and then quenched, the microstructure of the alloy was a mixture of (A2 + D03 + C14) phases. By means of transmission electron microscopy and diffraction techniques, the orientation relationship between the C14 precipitate and (A2 + D03) matrix was determined to be: (0001)C14∥(1¯1¯2)m, (1¯100)C14∥(1¯10)m, (112¯0)C14∥(111)m. This orientation relationship has not been reported in Fe–Al–Ti alloy systems before.
