Synthesis and characterization of mercaptoacetic acid-modified ZnO nanoparticles

The growth of ZnO crystals into rod shape was found to be closely related to its hexagonal nature. As indicated from SEM, the morphology of the modified ZnO nanorods changes with various MAA addition times from 1 to 5 h.
