Scattering properties induced by an asymmetric nanowell on ferromagnetic ultrathin film

► Coherent magnon transmission by an asymmetric atomic nanowell in quasi-two dimensional waveguides is analyzed. ► The magnonic conductance and the local densities of spin states (DOS) are determined. ► The response of the ultrathin magnetic film at the changes in the environment of the nanowell zone is examined.
