Magnetic properties, phase evolution, and microstructure of melt spun Sm(Co0.97Ti0.03)xCy (x=5-9; y=0-0.1) ribbons

► We studied composition dependence on magnetic property and phase evolution of Sm-Co-Ti-C ribbons. ► C addition effectively refines their microstructure. ► Proper Ti and C contents can improve magnetic property and thermal stability of the ribbons.
