Structural and electric-dielectric properties of some bismuth -phosphate glasses

► The physical properties of the Bi2O3-P2O5-Fe3O4-Li2O glassy system is studied in more details. ► The structure of these glasses has investigated by means of IR studies. ► ME spectroscopy indicated the presence of two different oxidation states of iron (Fe2+ and Fe3+). ► Unmonotonic variation in the σdc, (θD/2), σac(ω), ε1(ω), ε2(ω), as a function of Bi2O3 contents.
