Variable temperature studies on mesogenic polythiophenes using 2D-IR and WAXS

The molecular ordering in thin films of 4-{(E)-[(4-alkoxy phenyl imino] methyl} phenyl] thiophene-3-carboxylate (APTC) are due to segmental variations in alkyl chains and dipolar coupling of carbonyl groups.
