Synthesis and characterizations of Ni2+ substituted cobalt ferrite nanoparticles

► Crystallite size decreases with increasing Ni2+ substitution. ► IR spectra reveal the bands corresponding to spinel structure. ► Resistivity increases initially followed by decreasing trend with Ni2+ substitution. ► Magnetization decreases with increasing Ni2+ substitution. ► Dielectric properties decreases with increase in frequency.
