Synthesis of 3D hierarchical Ag microspheres assembled with dendritic morphology

► Uniform spherical silver hierarchical structures were synthesized for the first time. ► These silver hierarchical structures were constructed by dendrites. ► Potassium biphthalate was critical to control the assembly of the Ag architectures. ► Such hierarchical structures showed excellent SERS performance.
