One-step synthesis of manganese ferrite nanoparticles by ultrasonic wave-assisted ball milling technology

► Well-crystallized manganese ferrite nanoparticles (∼20 nm) were synthesized. ► MnFe2O4 were obtained at low temperature (≤100 °C) without subsequent calcination. ► Iron milling balls with diameter of 1.0-1.5 mm for accelerate reaction were used.
