Silver nanoclusters films for single molecule detection using Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS)

► The SERS substrates are more reproducible. ► The substrate has abundant hot spots for high SERS signal enhancement. ► It detects a single molecule of Crystal Violet. ► Both SPR and RRS enhancement could be necessary for detection of single molecule.
