Comparison of organic ligand effects on morphology control between disc-like zeolite L crystals and zeolite A and W crystals

► Thin disc-like zeolite L crystals which had one-dimensional channels normal to the large surface were synthesized. ► Static hydrothermal synthesis with the addition of catechol or acetylacetone provided thin disc-like zeolite L crystals. ► The effect of organic ligands on crystal shapes and the influence of agitation on it were compared between different zeolites.
