Direct growth of carbon nanotubes on hydroxyapatite using MPECVD

► CNTs have been successfully grown directly on hydroxyapatite using MPECVD. ► Diameter distribution of the CNTs lies in the range from 30 to 70 nm. ► The HA surface is partially transformed to β-TCP during the deposition. ► Grown CNTs have good quality and IG/ID ratio lies between 1.243 and 1.774.
