N-Lauroyl sarcosine sodium salt mediated formation of hydroxyapatite microspheres via a hydrothermal route

► N-Lauroyl sarcosine sodium salt is firstly used to control the morphology of hydroxyapatite. ► The mechanism of Sar-Na on the morphology of hydroxyapatite are discussed in this paper. ► The dandelion-like microsphere hydroxyapatite are obtained at suitable conditions.
