Degradation of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) using ZnO nanoparticles supported on zeolites and modeling of experimental results by artificial neural networks

► ZnO/Zeolites (HY, HZSM-5, Clinoptiolite) are used for degradation of 4-nitrophenol. ► ZnO/Zeolites nanocomposites are prepared by using poly acrylamide pyrolysis method. ► Among the catalysts, ZnO/HZSM-5 showed higher percentage of adsorption than others. ► Predicted results of the designed ANN model and experimental data are in good agreements.
