Construction of superhydrophobic hydromagnesite films on the Mg alloy

► Fabricated hydromagnesite film with flower-like morphology. ► After modified with FAS, the surface changes from superhydrophilic to superhydrophobic. ► The superhydrophobic surface provides an effective corrosion resistance for Mg alloy.
