Preparation and characterization of LTA-type zeolite framework dispersed ruthenium nanoparticles and their catalytic application in the hydrolytic dehydrogenation of ammonia-borane for efficient hydrogen generation

► Ru(0)NPs@ZK-4 were prepared and characterized by advanced analytical techniques. ► They achieve the hydrolysis of ammonia-borane with TOF = 5410 h−1 and TTO = 36700. ► They maintain 85% of their activity even at the fifth catalytic run.
