Evolvement of soft templates in surfactant/cosurfactant system for shape control of ZnSe nanocrystals

► Soft templates were found in the shape control synthesis of ZnSe nanocrystals. ► Micelle formation model in the soft templates system was proposed and proved. ► Different shapes of ZnSe nanocrystals were prepared and explained by proposed model.
