Degradation of [D-Leu]-Microcystin-LR by solar heterogeneous photocatalysis (TiO2)

► [D-Leu]-Microcystin-LR was extracted from a culture of Microcystis spp. ► It was used a flat plate glass solar reactor coated with TiO2. ► [D-Leu]-Microcystin-LR was thoroughly degraded by solar photocatalysis. ► Acute toxicity is removed, but residual phosphatases' inhibition might remain.
