Effect of flow distribution on the photovoltaic performance of a building integrated photovoltaic/thermal (BIPV/T) collector

► We conducted a study to quantify the effect of flow distribution on PV yield of a PV/T collector. ► We examined the influence of a number of design parameters. ► Flow distribution will influence PV yield. ► Increasing the aspect ratio of the collector will improve flow uniformity and PV output. ► The ideal mass flow rate is dependent on array geometry.
