Modeling and simulation of solar-powered liquid desiccant regenerator for open absorption cooling cycle

► We applied the Matlab-Simulink to model a desiccant cooling system. ► Calcium Chloride (CaCl2) is applied as the working desiccant. ► A finite difference method is used to simulate the system. ► Maximum value of COP occurs at a given range of air and solution flow rates.
