Plasmon-enhanced yellow light emission in hybrid nanostructures formed by fluorescent molecules and polymer

► We fabricate two metal-dye-polymer hybrid nanostructures. ► The nanostructures emit yellow light. ► The light emission is enhanced by surface plasmon effect of Ag triangular nanoplates with different concentrations and sizes. ► A maximum of 24-fold light emission enhancement is obtained. ► The nanostructures are toward the development of light-emitting devices or solar energy conversion units.
