A printable graphene enhanced composite counter electrode for flexible dye-sensitized solar cells

► Graphene coated nano-TiC particles were produced through carbothermal reduction of a sol-gel derived TiO2/C precursor. ► A slurry of PEDOT:PSS mixed with the graphene coated TiC nano-particles was formed. ► Counter electrodes were printed on plastics from the slurry for flexible dye-sensitized solar cells. ► This composite counter electrode showed better performance than Pt counter electrode.
