Experimental study on phase relationships in the Si-rich portion of the Nb-Si-W ternary system

► The phase relationships of the as-cast and the heat-treated Nb-Si-W alloys were studied. ► The liquidus projection for Si-rich portion of the Nb-Si-W system was constructed. ► The isothermal section for Si-rich portion of the Nb-Si-W system at 1873 K was determined.
