Thermodynamic modelling of concentrated sulfuric acid solutions

► NPL modification of Pitzer equation can model well aqueous sulfuric acid solutions. ► There was little difference in predicted values between four studied K2 equations. ► Four NPL Pitzer parameters are essential in modelling the H2SO4-H2O system. ► Two-five parameter sets with excellent extrapolating capabilities were found.
