Reply to comment on “Thermodynamic modelling of an Al2O3–MnO system using the ionic model” by I.-H. Jung and Y.-B. Kang

This note will address the points posed by Jung and Kang. Some errors in the previous assessment were verified and a new set of parameters were obtained in order to describe correctly the Gibbs free energy of formation of the Al2O3⋅MnO spinel phase.
