Modeling of lattice structure and dynamics of Ge doped α-quartz

- Vibrations of Ge impurity in α-SiO2:Ge were studied.
- We estimated the influence of Ge impurity on the structure and the phonon spectrum.
- Frequencies of symmetrized vibrations induced by Ge impurity were calculated.
