Numerical and experimental research on polyisocyanurate foam

► Objective of the study is polyisocyanurate foam under static compressive load. ► Experiment was carried out with the use of the tomograph material testing stage. ► Foamed showed an auxetic behaviour. ► Microstructure numerical model was developed on the base of Kelvin structure. ► Material model and sample dimensions influence on auxetic behaviour was tested.
