Kinetics and rates of martensitic phase transformation based on statistical physics

We developed a novel rate formalism for martensitic phase transformations. The core of the theory is a tensorial order parameter based on statistical physics. A nonlinear relation between strain rates and phase fraction rates is obtained. The approach exhibits natural phase triggering.
