Modelling of particle nucleation and growth in binary alloys under elastic deformation: An application to a Cu-0.95Â wt%Co alloy

► The KWN-model is extended with the effect of thermo-mechanical treatment. ► The KWN-model is applied to copper-cobalt system. ► Thermo-mechanical treatment promotes nucleation of cobalt precipitates. ► Temperature and interface energy promote larger and more precipitates. ► Temperature has long term influence on precipitates and solubility.
