Hydrothermal synthesis of flowerlike SnO2 nanorod bundles and their application for lithium ion battery

► The flowerlike SnO2 nanorod bundles were synthesized by hydrothermal method. ► SnO2 nanorod bundles with tunable size by controlling concentration of SnCl4. ► A probable formation mechanism of SnO2 nanorod bundles has been proposed.
