Synthesis of nanocrystalline CeO2 particles by different emulsion methods

► Nano-sized CeO2 was successfully prepared by three different emulsion methods. ► The colloidal emulsion aphrons method producing CeO2 with the highest surface area. ► The surface tensions of a cerium solution have slightly effect on the particle size. ► The size control could be interpreted in terms of the adsorption of the surfactant.
