Hot working behavior of Fe-29Ni-17Co analyzed by mechanical testing and processing map

► Dynamic recrystallization occurs at temperatures higher than 1000 °C. ► Better hot workability is observed at temperatures higher than 1000 °C. ► Slight hot ductility trough is observed over temperature range of 1100-1150 °C. ► The best workability is achieved at 1000-1200 °C and strain rates up to 10 s−1.
