Effect of Cu/Mo duplex coating on the interface and property of SiCf/Ti6Al4V composite

► Cu/Mo duplex coating was used as interfacial modification layer. ► Cu coating diffused into the matrix to make the matrix form Ti2Cu and α phase. ► Mo coating became Mo-Ti mixed coating. ► σb of the composite of is excellent as the coating can hinder interfacial reaction.
