Influence of martensite volume fraction on tensile properties of triple phase ferrite-bainite-martensite steels

► Triple phase microstructures were obtained by step-quenching heat treatment. ► Higher dislocation density in ferrite, adjacent to martensite, was observed by TEM. ► This evidence is due to higher localized plastic strains of martensitic transformation.
