Interface microstructure evolution of dissimilar friction stir butt welded F82H steel and SUS304

► The dissimilar butt welding applied to (RAF/M) F82H and SUS304. ► Position of the plate and tool plunging was considered in order to prohibit the mixing structure. ► Dissimilar steels joint without a mixed structure and intermetallic compounds can be achieved.
