Nanovoid growth in nanocrystalline metal by dislocation shear loop emission

► The void is in nano scale and the material is nanocrystalline. ► The critical stress for emission of dislocation from the nanovoid surface is calculated by considering the effects of void surface stress. ► Effect of grain boundaries on void growth has also been discussed.
