The impact of particle distributions and grain-level inhomogeneities on post-necking deformation and fracture in AA5754 sheet alloys during uniaxial tension
چکیده انگلیسی
▶ A novel edge-constrained plane strain FE model is used to study material microstructure influences on fracture mode. ▶ Novel tools are developed to consider the grain structures in microstructure-based FE analysis. ▶ A modified Voroni-cell interpolation method is used to map measured grain structures into FEM. ▶ A simplified user material model is used to represent the behavior of grains of different grain orientations. ▶ The model shows similar results compared with experimental observations.
