A simple method to evaluate anisotropic plastic properties based on dimensionless function of single spherical indentation - Application to SiC whisker-reinforced aluminum alloy

▶ Indentation to evaluate anisotropic plastic properties was newly developed. ▶ Anisotropic impression shape and indentation curve are employed for the method. ▶ Extensive finite element method was performed to establish dimensionless function. ▶ The effectiveness was verified by numerical and experimental investigations.
