The phase diagram analysis of electron-doped high TCTC cuprates is studied and its comparison with hole-doped cuprates is reported. The mean field level calculations are carried out for three order parameters from a model Hamiltonian by using Zubarev's technique of single particle Greens function and hence expressions for which superconducting (SC) gap, antiferromagnetism (AFM) gap and dopant concentration are solved self consistently. It is found that antiferromagnetic phase overlaps with the SC phase for a doping range (x=−0.12x=−0.12) in electron doped system and AFM phase is suppressed in the appearance of SC phase, suggesting a competition between superconductivity and AFM order. We also compare its result with the theoretical phase diagram of hole doped cuprates studied earlier.
► Propose a model Hamiltonian to obtain a phase diagram of electron-doped cuprates.
► SC gap, AFM gap and chemical potential are solved self consistently.
► The results suggest a competition between superconductivity and antiferromagnetism.
► Compare the results with the phase diagram of hole-doped cuprates.
► The electron doped side of the phase diagram still needs experimental clarifications.
