Phase transitions in La0.5Sr0.5FeO3−δ investigated by mechanical spectrum

► Mechanical spectrum of La0.5Sr0.5FeO3−δ was measured below room temperatures. ► An elastic manifestation of the charge disproportionation transition is found. ► An internal friction peak with phase transition nature is observed.
