Fabrication and magnetic properties of cobalt nanorod arrays containing a number of ultrafine nanowires electrodeposited within an AAO/SBA-15 template

► Mesostructural Co nanorods synthesized using AAO/SBA-15 composite membrane. ► Co nanorods are composed of a number of 3 nm cobalt nanowires. ► The Co mesostructures obtained possess obvious magnetic shape anisotropy. ► The maximum value of the perpendicular coercivity is 330 Oe.
