The possibility of a compensation point induced by a transverse field in transverse Ising nanoparticles with a negative core-shell coupling

► Phase diagrams and total magnetizations are examined for two 2D TIM nanoparticles. ► The effects of transverse field are examined by using the EFT. ► Ferrimagnetic behaviors are obtained for the two systems. ► The possibility of a compensation point induced by a transverse field is given.
