Low-energy excitations and stripes in superconducting cuprate La1.87Sr0.13CuO4

► In the non-superconducting state the free carrier plasma is underdamped. ► In the superconducting state a well pronounced resonance is observed. ► The origin of the resonance is associated with the transverse Josephson plasmon.
